• To know how to consult the Akashic records, you must master meditation or virtualization. Before starting, it is important to ask yourself questions about the information you really want. Once the Akashic reading is complete, you should take note of your feelings.

    This may seem vague to you at the moment, which is perfectly normal. Consulting the Akashic records is a long and complex process. It is thus essential to inform you well before launching you.

    This is why I will detail in this article the process of an Akashic reading. I will also tell you about the different methods to access the Akashic records. And finally, you will also learn all about the benefits of such a process.

    The main interest of an Akashic reading is the discovery of certain facts from your past lives. Every soul has its own Akashic records.

    They are particularly important because they allow you to find your soul mission. The discovery of the latter will guide you on the path to better fulfilment.

    Anyone can access the Akashic records through a meditation session. However, it is a process that can be long and involve various stages.

    To find out more about this, see our page on the Akashic Record.

    How does an Akashic reading work? First of all, you should know that there is nothing magical about it. It takes place in 3 main stages:

    the focusing of your research ;

    the use of one of the previous methods to contact the Akashic records;

    and interpreting the information received.

    Each of these steps is important and requires serious work on your part.

    Focusing your research

    During this stage, you need to define the information you need. This will allow you to create a list of questions to ask once you have opened your Akashic records.

    In the course of your research, you will need to :

    identify the reasons why you want to access the Akashic records

    prepare your list of questions;

    and ask yourself the questions one by one.

    Identify your intentions

    Accessing the Akashic records starts with thinking about why you want to do so. What do you want to know and why do you need this information? How could this knowledge help you?

    It is important to clarify this before you even start. If your motives are not good, then they will prevent you from accessing useful information.

    Take the time to determine what you are really looking for in your Akashic records. The more specific your questions, the better the answers (information) you receive.

    Prepare your list of questions

    Make a list of questions that can help you get the information you are looking for. Make them as specific as possible to facilitate your search.

    These questions should :

    relate to a problem you are facing ;

    and be able to help you make a decision in your life.

    However, avoid asking time-based or yes/no questions. They give you limited possibilities of answers.

    Ask the questions one by one

    Once you have your list, ask yourself each question at a time:

    so that you can concentrate better ;

    and to get accurate information.

    This approach will allow you to focus on one aspect of your life at a time.

  • Many school leavers ask themselves what they should become one day and what they need to study for it. Some of them decide to become a doctor. But what knowledge and qualities do you actually have to have in order to start studying medicine? During your A-levels, you are already taught many skills that will make your life easier during your studies.

    These qualities will help you get ahead

    Willpower

    During medical school, you will often reach your limits. For this reason, becoming a doctor should be your dream. Only a strong motivation and a firm conviction will help you get through the difficult studies. It doesn't get any easier after graduation either. Shift work also demands a willingness to work weekends, nights and 24 hours a day. Unfortunately, these are not exceptions, but facts of normal working life.

    During your studies, you won't enjoy all the subjects. To pass all exams, you have to be very diligent and study regularly. For many subjects, it will not be enough to just learn by heart. You should also internalise and understand some of the content. Regular attendance at lectures will help you to do this. Since none of the lectures are compulsory, you should always stay motivated to get up early every morning voluntarily and drive to the university. Some universities/universities also upload the lectures or the lecturers' scripts to Moodle afterwards. Moodle is a university portal where course registrations or seminar preparations take place.

    No matter which university you apply to, you usually have to prove your motivation and willpower before you start your studies. This is usually done first in a letter of motivation and later during the entrance examination.

    Self-discipline

    New university, new challenges! When you start your studies, you have to learn self-discipline and independent work and make them your characteristics. None of the lecturers or professors will force you to do your homework. In addition, your attendance is only checked in the compulsory courses, otherwise you are free to attend certain lectures or not.

    Neither your parents nor your teachers will control you now. In order to learn successfully and complete your studies, you have to organise and manage many things yourself. In lectures, you should take notes or at least listen carefully. Registration for all courses/lectures is usually done online and by precise deadlines. If you miss the deadline, you will not be allowed to attend the course until a year later.

    The exams are usually at the end of the semester. However, the libraries are actually always open. At the latest during the exam period, you should just take your books and go study. This usually works quite well in the library, as you can concentrate well there and are less distracted. Strong self-discipline is especially important during the intensive study period for exams.

    Mental resilience

    An important prerequisite for becoming a doctor is, of course, mental resilience. You will have to deal with human suffering and grief on a daily basis. It doesn't matter whether you work in surgery, gynaecology or psychiatry: Your patients will share their problems and feelings with you and rely on your help and advice. From the very first semester of medical school, students will practice on real cadavers. This also requires strong nerves and means a psychological overcoming for some students.

    Empathy

    Every doctor's goal is to help people. However, it is not always necessary to act in a purely scientific way, but also in a human way. Therefore, it is indescribably important that empathy is one of your qualities. Even if the time for talking to patients is always scarce, you should always act humanly and empathically towards the patients. If the patient feels understood and valued by the doctor, then that is half the battle and the patients will remember it positively.

    During your studies in psychology, you also learn how best to deal with patients and their relatives. A good relationship between doctor and patient is not only conducive to more efficient treatment, the patient also prefers to come to the next appointment and may even recommend the doctor to others.

  • A toolbox should last for many years. Therefore, it is worthwhile to equip it with high-quality tools. The motto is: "If you buy cheap, you buy twice". Unfortunately, you can't tell the quality of a tool case either by its detailed product description or by the material it is made of, such as "chrome vanadium steel" or by its shine.

    But if you pay attention to a few crucial details, which we reveal here, you can't go far wrong when buying tools and freely choose what feels better in your hand. Or you can choose a specific manufacturer and create a uniform set.

    Must-have 1: Screwdriver

    There is something to screw everywhere. A do-it-yourselfer cannot do without a good screwdriver set. It should include screwdrivers with the most important sizes and tips to be prepared for almost all screwdriving situations. Slotted screwdrivers are only suitable for conventional slotted screws.

    © asadykov - stock.adobe.com

    When using screwdrivers, always make sure that the tip or blade and the screw head fit together well.

    For Phillips screws, it is even more important that the tip of the blade and the screw head fit together. We recommend two screwdrivers each for Phillips and Pozidriv cross-slotted screws (in sizes 1 and 2). Pozidriv screws have an additional drive cross and are mainly used as chipboard screws.

    Screwdrivers for larger cross-slotted screws and the increasingly common Torx screws are best bought as needed.

    Good two-component handles ensure better power transmission. A hexagonal blade or a hexagon at the base of the blade for an open-ended spanner makes it easier to loosen stuck screws.

    By the way: The black tips of some screwdrivers are not a sign of quality, but a result of the manufacturing process.

    Must-have 2: Allen key

    The hexagon socket or commonly called Allen key is also part of the basic equipment of every do-it-yourselfer all over the world. The hexagonal screw is used, for example, for fixed connections on bicycles. Compared to a Phillips screw, an Allen key can withstand ten times the torque.

    Common Allen sizes are 2-10 mm, most commonly you will need the 4, 5 and 6 mm wrenches. For these screw sizes, it would be worth buying the original Allen hex keys.

    These are priced significantly higher than the simple models, but in return you get a sophisticated design in a material quality that is second to none, ergonomic handles for optimal power transmission and a ten-year guarantee.

    Must-have 3: Wrenches

    Spanners are mainly needed for loosening or tightening screws with hexagonal heads. A set of about eight to ten combination spanners in sizes between 8 and 17 mm is recommended as basic equipment. Combination spanners have an open-ended spanner on one side and a ring spanner on the other, so you are prepared for all eventualities.

    When buying a spanner, look for a well-known brand and go to a specialist dealer. This is the best clue to avoid getting inferior cheap goods.

    Do-it-yourselfers who want to screw on bicycles or other companions can expand the basic set with open-ended and ring spanners according to their special needs.

    Ring spanners with a wave profile grip the bolt heads on the flanks and prevent the corners from being rounded, especially with very tight bolts.

  • If your pet cat scratches furniture, doors or carpets in his home, it is not malice, but normal instincts that can have different causes. Pay attention to your cat's body language and behaviour to find out the reason for the scratching. This way, you can then respond to your cat's exact needs and better break him of the scratching habit. These are the 6 reasons why cats scratch:

    #01 - Claw care: The animal needs to sharpen its claws.

    Cat claws are constantly growing back and therefore need to be trimmed by the animal. In the wild, animals usually use tree bark, as its rough texture provides ideal resistance for the cat's claws.

    #02 - Marking the territory

    In the cat's paws there are also scent glands that secrete pheromones. For this reason, the animals scratch on objects to mark their territory. The cat wants to say that it lives here and that possible rivals have to stay away.

    #03 - The cat wants to play

    Cats have a pronounced play instinct, which is important for the animals in many areas. They train their hunting instinct and their social behaviour while playing. Young animals in particular can quickly overshoot the mark when playing by scratching and biting more often. It is then important to adjust the play with the cat and not to stop it, as it is an important part for the mental health of the cat.

    #04 - The cat fights back

    The cat also uses its claws for defence. It usually does this when it wants to keep its distance. This can be in the context of territorial fights with other cats, but it can also affect the cat owner himself. The exact reasons are manifold. It can be insecurity, for example, if the relationship between cat and human or even the territory itself is not clearly clarified. In case of illness, cats often prefer to keep their distance from humans or other animals. However, it can also be simply due to the personality of your cat. Do not force closeness and give your cat the space it needs. But don't turn them away if your cat does seek closeness. If there is no reason for aggression, you should have a vet check for organic causes.

    #05 - The cat kicks

    When cuddling with your cat, it can also happen that the animal kicks and extends its claws. As a rule, the claws are not used as much when kicking, but it can still happen. Kicking is an instinct of the cat, which the young cats use when drinking milk from the mother's belly. The so-called milk kick is supposed to stimulate the flow of milk. If your cat kicks while cuddling, it is a sign that the animal enjoys your closeness.

    #06 - Boredom - stress relief - exercise

    House cats in particular need exercise. While free-roaming cats go on a daily tour of discovery and get many different impressions of the world, it can get boring indoors. If the velvet paws have no or few play alternatives to keep them occupied, the furniture may have to do. Scratching can also come from a lack of attention. If cats scratch in a place that is taboo, the animal knows that it will get a reaction for this action. Stress can also be a reason for increased scratching, which in general often results in increased territorial behaviour (including scratching). When cats feel uncomfortable, the stretching and movement of the muscles during scratching also helps them to release tension.

  • "In ten years, the biggest financial institutions in the world will not be the well-known banks or insurance companies, but tech companies." predicts Brett King, industry-renowned book author and founder of Moven, a fintech start-up, on stage at this year's "MoneyConf" in Madrid.

    He underlines his provocative thesis by referring to the Chinese online retailer Alibaba (the "Chinese Amazon"), which launched its own money market fund called "Yu'e Bao" four years ago. The operators of the payment service Alipay had noticed that increasingly large towers of unused money were piling up in their customers' digital wallets ("Yu'e Bao" stands for "leftover treasures"). And they gave them the opportunity to invest this money relatively profitably simply by using a mobile phone app - with resounding success. In just four years, the fund collected over 165 billion US dollars in customer money, making it the largest money market fund in the world in record time, far ahead of the U.S. government money market fund of the established fund company JPMorgan Asset Management.

    Magic word "disruptive

    Examples of such "disruptive" companies or organisations that compete with established players with new kinds of offers abound, especially in the financial sector, as a visit to the "Money Conf" at the beginning of June made clear. At this conference, the world's major banks and financial service providers meet start-ups from all directions to discuss the future of the industry. The mood is euphoric to heated, as many observers believe that the time has come this year when long-announced developments will actually be implemented and the "revolucers" on the financial market will also be able to show the first tangible results.

    The reactions of the established players range from ignoring to cooperating to acquiring and are very relevant from an investor's point of view. After all, this rapid development offers numerous investment opportunities, but also considerable risks for existing investments.

    "Kodak moment" for banks

    "The established banks are currently experiencing their 'Kodak moment'. Kodak was one of the first to develop digital photography, but hesitated too long with the introduction so as not to endanger the existing business with analogue photography. Banks today are also too slow to react to the rapidly changing demands and opportunities," Jon Matonis is convinced. The co-founder of the Bitcoin Foundation and head of the Bitcoin exchange Globitex sees large banks in particular at risk because they are the last to adapt to such upheavals. Blockchain technology, on which the virtual currency Bitcoin is based, has the potential to revolutionise financial services.

    Blockchain has been the hottest topic in the financial sector for quite some time. Put simply, this technology enables the operation of a secure, decentralised database and transactions directly from user to user, without intermediary institutions. "But you have to distinguish between public and private blockchains, because only the public ones have the revolutionary potential," Matonis distinguishes. This is similar to the internet and intranet, the company-owned, closed networks that have a benefit but have not changed the world as much as the internet.

    Blockchain in the financial sector

    Currently, numerous companies, some in cooperation with etalised banks, are working on applying blockchain technology to financial services. "The integration of blockchain technology has progressed furthest in the area of money transfers, and loans are already being granted. Insurance companies are also taking a close look at this technology. But here, the development of corresponding offers will still take a while," Matonis says.

    Joseph Lubin, who was involved in the early beginnings of Ethereum, now the second largest blockchain network after Bitcoin, is less sceptical about established banks: "Many of the banks are agile and adaptable, so they will recognise that some of their customers want something different. But they will have to keep their old banking systems running in parallel because many older people will want to keep their traditional banking relationships. In contrast, eleven-year-olds today may never have a traditional bank account again."
